Growing up in a small farming community in Kansas, I
learned to be creative and to appreciate the little things in
life. I started “clicking my heals together” at a very young
age, developing a passion for travel, experiencing life and
the world at large. After college & working in the real world, I
discovered that my chosen degree wasn't for me. I then
moved from Connecticut to California to "discover my inner
art". I started waiting tables and went back to school diving
into art of all mediums, specializing in Photography & Film.
It was in 1998 while living in Hawaii that I landed my first
“paying” video production job. I did free lance work, worked
for two prominent video production companies, and did a
variety of productions ranging from souvenir videos,
commercials, corporate productions, and The Biography
Channel. However, shooting weddings is where I found my
true passion.
I started my own photography & video production company
in 2001. Working part time initially, then going full-time in
2004 and specializing in wedding movies.
My goal has always been to capture
the heart and soul of each bride &
groom at their wedding; to be discrete
but involved. To record the essence of
their day and artistically put it all
together, to me that is a fantastic way
to make a living!
